Welcome to La Crosse, Wisconsin
There are many things that La Crosse is known for. Riverside Park with its incredible views of the river. Myrick Park, a great place to spend the day with the family. With three colleges in close proximity to each other, there is a certain “college town” feel to it. La Crosse’s annual Oktoberfest celebration offers a variety of recreational activities for all ages. Downtown offers a variety of bars and taverns and has gained itself a party-spot reputation. It’s riddled with great sandwich shops and spots to pick up a late night bite.
But where are you going to take the client you have coming into town out to dinner? Where will you and your husband go for your well-earned night away from the kids for your special anniversary dinner? Your date won’t be very impressed when you escort her to the nearest Subway for a romantic dinner. There are a number of fine dining opportunities in La Crosse. You just have to know where to look. I picked out three of the hot spots of La Crosse for great food and classy, comfortable atmospheres for all of those slightly more formal occasions. Dinner is served!
