What is Color Psychology?
Color psychology is the study of how colors affect human behavior and feelings. Due to the lack of solid research about color psychology, there are conflicting views about just how influential color is. However, it is clear that colors do have the potential to be powerful, especially saturated and bright colors.
Variation in Meanings
It is also important to keep in mind that the specific meanings and connotations of colors vary among cultures and individuals. In addition, altering a color’s shade or tint can drastically change the feelings or meanings associated with it. For example, red and pink send very different messages and cause different emotional and physical reactions.
