Sketch one subject per day (just draw!)

When you feel like you’ve got a good grasp of several different mediums on their own, mix and match them while sketching to find out what combinations you like best.
Choose a “Theme” Sketchbook
Do you find you enjoy sketching one subject over many others? Buy a sketchbook specifically for a certain subject (ie. animals, cars, plants, buildings, etc.). See how long it takes you to fill it up!
Speed Sketching

If “looking good” doesn’t always matter much to you, try to limit the time you spend on a sketch. See how your masterpiece turns out when you spend 10 minutes on a subject. Next, draw the same subject in only 5 minutes. Give yourself a challenge to see how much you can capture in shorter amounts of time.
