CPU Fan Learn2Install is a website designed to inform people how easy it is to install computer components without the risk of damaging their computer. Please read the precautions before continuing to the installation instruction

Precautions

When installing any piece of computer hardware there are precautions and steps necessary for your safety and to prevent harm to the computer.

  1. Wash your hands and wear thin rubber gloves. You don't want any oil from your fingers or dirt particles to get on any major circuit surfaces on a piece of hardware.
  2. Avoid working on a carpeted or any other surface where static electricity can be produced.
  3. Remove the power cable from the power supply unit and make sure the switch is set to open circuit (off).
  4. Ground yourself to get all of the static electricity out of your body the best way to do this is to wear a grounder strap and clip it to the computer case.
